Dr Lee Meakin completed her medical degree at the University of Melbourne, followed by General Practice specialisation training before embracing Ballarat life in 2003.
Lee feels privileged to work as a GP and outside work enjoys activities with her husband and 4 school aged children. These activities include cycling, running, Pilates and the occasional swim in Lake Wendouree.
Lee has travelled extensively including volunteer work in Africa, completed the Inca trail, the Kokoda trail and climbed Mr Kilimanjaro. These adventures compliment her interest as a doctor specialising in Travel Medicine.
